BEC Named RSPA Certified Retail Technology

Consultant (BEC) the authorized reseller of the
Radiant Systems family of products, including
Radiant Hardware, Menulink back office software and
Aloha Point of sale and restaurant technology
announced today that it has been named an RSPA
Certified Retail Technology Provider. BEC currently
serves hospitality clients in Colorado and Wyoming.
According to RSPA’s industry standards, BEC received
the certified technology provider status by
demonstrating a commitment to excellence and an
exceptional level of professionalism. As an RSPA
Certified Retail Technology Provider, BEC is
recognized as ethical and fair and stands behind the
products and services they sell and support.
The Retail Solutions Providers Association, the only
association dedicated to the retail technology
industry, launched its industry certification
program on July 13, 2009. The certification program
is a new way to identify professionals in the retail
technology industry and was developed to set and
maintain the bar of professionalism for retail
technology vendors and resellers.
Certification offers assurances to the public,
including those who use the products and
professional services that they are working with a
company that is a distinguished solution provider.

BEC began its affiliation with trade associations
during the first year of operation, which was in
1971. The National Office Machine Dealer’s
Association (NOMDA) provided educational programs,
as well as networking with peers in the industry.
This evolved into the Business Technology
Association (BTA) in the mid-nineties. Throughout
its 40 years in business, BEC has placed a high
priority on the education of employees and
principals, and the RSPA continues to fulfill this
