Michele Lucero Memorial Event Fund Information

Recently, some tragedy has struck close to home for Shaye, one of our BEC managers.  Her long time neighbors and  friends recently lost their niece, leaving behind 4 teenage daughters in their care.  As we know things can be tough with one family to budget for, but having to take in 4 extra teenagers can bring up some unexpected changes and stresses that still need to be worked through.    They are doing everything in their power to make life as normal as possible for these girls, who have just lost their mom. We have partnered with some of our amazing clients to host fundraising nights for them.

Please join us in supporting this family, while enjoying a great night out with friends!!

THE STORY: (Donate Here)

In March of 2014 Michele Elaine Lucero was lost to us through a tragic act of domestic violence.

She left behind four beautiful daughters ranging in age from 11-19. As a single parent mom, the girls were the pride and joy of Michele’s life and in each of them we see the best of her.

Michele lost her own mother when she was a teen and her start in life was incredibly tough. She rejected the role of victim and instead completed her GED courses, put herself through college, worked through the ranks to become an assistant manager with Wal-Mart. Her ultimate goal was to give her girls the love, friendship and empowerment that was stripped from her at such a young age.

Her family now seeks assistance to help her daughters complete the journey she started.

If you can help, please do so. If a donation is not in the budget, please promote this link so that others can find their way to the site. Today, do one thing to lift up someone else. Do it in honor of Michele, who did so much for others.
