Radiant Systems Named a Fast 40 Company by Georgia Trend MagazineHospitality and retail technology company selected from more than120 qualified state businesses ATLANTA (July 28, 2010) — Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) today announced that it has recently been named as a Fast 40 Company by Georgia Trend magazine based on financial and employee growth as well as investments in research and development. This annual award is a joint effort supported by accounting firm Cherry, Bekaert & Holland LLC (CB&H), the Association for Corporate Growth Atlanta and Georgia Trend. "Throughout the selection process we identified common trends among the Fast 40 companies, including a strong leadership team who invested in innovation during a tough economy,” said Kip Plowman, managing partner of CB&H Atlanta. “CB&H recognized the tremendous achievements of the 40 Georgia-based companies at the Awards Gala held in June and in the Fast 40 feature displayed in the July issue of the Georgia Trend magazine." In order to qualify as a candidate for the Fast 40 awards, companies must be headquartered in the state of Georgia, have net sales between $15 - $500 million and show sustained revenue and employment growth over the past three years. The awards are separated into two categories, small mid-market and large mid-market, with Radiant Systems placing within the large group. Rankings are based on demonstrating the highest weighted three-year average growth in revenue and employment with 75 percent toward revenue growth and 25 percent toward employee growth. Radiant’s CEO John Heyman accepted this honor at the Awards Gala on July 17 at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. “Radiant is honored to be recognized within the state of Georgia for the growth we have experienced,” said John Heyman, chief executive officer at Radiant Systems. “Radiant remains focused on helping retailers and restaurants improve customer service and operate more efficiently through the adoption of our award-winning technology products.” |
