My name is Mike Gegen and I work for Ciara Dawn LLC, the owner and operator of six Denver-area restaurants. We recently had your company install an ALOHA system at our newest restaurant, i-Fish. Rik Reinhardt was the project manager. I asked Rik for your contact info and just wanted to quickly comment on our experience while working with him. Rik took very good care of us and was very professional in handling the program and installation. We were a little worried about the transition to ALOHA, but Rik took the time and effort to make sure everything was done correctly the first time. As a manger of dozens of employees, I realize that it can be difficult to find employees who are intrinsically motivated and will do their best even if no one is directly overseeing their work--which is why I wanted to let you know that Rik did a very good job.

This site used cash registers successfully for ages prior to purchasing an Aloha system. During the Implementation process they were extremely overwhelmed and thought they may have over purchased. After a year its amazing how wonderful this system is and that the support is fantastic. This is specifically due to how wonderful BEC’s training and support is... This summer, Smashburger completed rolling out Aloha Configuration Center to all stores. This was accomplished due to Andrea Hale’s hard work and organizational skills at BEC. Andrea carefully coordinated installing the application, preparing stores for upcoming changes and cleaning up data before publishing changes to stores. This important conversion to Configuration Center has allowed Smashburger to easily administer changes and updates to now 110+ locations. Danny Acosta  Manager of Restaurant Technology

I felt that Mike Lane did an OUTSTANDING job in training staff and managers alike. Also Mike was available for us every step of the way during the "rocky" first steps opening our restaurant. He is easy to work with and very patient when teaching the aloha system. Our store had numerous employees that had not worked in a restaurant before and had no previous POS experience. Being my first time in the "Food Biz" I would like to say that Sales an Support from a company is what I'm looking for. It's always easy to sell a product like yours that we as a company felt it was the best choice. The most important thing is "Always" the service behind the company. Rik is the true definition of "Customer Service" he has perfect people skills and never rushes anything and makes me as the G.M. very comfortable with your system. Rik always ends his phones calls with a Thank You and if I ever need anything else please call him. Although all your staff is very helpful, when in a pinch on programming questions I don’t hesitate to contact Sarah Behnen. When you folks lost Darlene there was a slight void there for a little while, just because Darlene had been with your company so long, and knew the little nuances around the Aloha system. Although Sarah is probably not at the same level as Darlene, it’s not for any lack of trying. She is always happy to help resolve a problem, and if she doesn’t have the answer, she’s very good at sourcing a solution. She’s really become my “go to” person, and just a delight to work with. With that said, I don’t abuse Sarah, and still use your support team for hardware issues. They are also a strong team, and we appreciate all the support we get from BEC. Thanks, Jim.

Audrey & Rob: I own a couple of Taste of Philly locations and converted to the Aloha system last November. It has been a very bumpy road transitioning from my previous system, as I found that the Aloha system has not proven to be upgrade and limited from my previous POS system. At times, I felt that your employees at the help desk kept passing me on to another person. There seem to be a lack of communication and follow-up in getting my issues taken care of. After talking with Jason Skolak about my frustration, I was connected with Sarah Behnen. I explained to her the issues that I have been experiencing; we made a punch list of the items that needed to be corrected. She took the lead in getting most of the issues taken care of. Most of all, she owned the project, if she ran into a situation that she was not familiar with. She contacted someone to resolve it, have been always in communication and keeping me updated of the progress. With a new system, there were a lot of changes in the layout and functions. Sarah has been very helpful in assisting me with those changes.
